Andrea Copp is a ceramicist and artist based in Vancouver, Canada.

With a passion to overcome and enjoy every life’s challenges, bringing a deep respect to balance and beauty, Andrea has turned her focus to clay as her medium. 

Stoneware pieces, made by coil, wheel, and slab. Vases made from inner emotional expression, creating shapes that express their own soulful forms.

Custom works can be requested to size and colours, while allowing room for the process to reveal itself.

Artist's Statement
My title for this piece imposed itself upon me, because it is created with great love and rage from the depths of the ocean floor to the shooting stars.

This vessel came to be with all the forces streaming through our stratosphere, and then with the finishing touch from some wild creature who left its marking during my making.

The piece needed to stay as a found memory to the wild shores of Lions Bay, where I make.

Human Soul is stoneware coil built, layered with multiple glazes, firings and oxides and metal base.
